SB19 fans can now pre-order the limited-edition vinyl edition of Wakas at Simula, with orders opening at 12 noon Philippine time on October 29. The group’s second studio album will arrive in the new physical format on November 15, 2026, alongside a launch and fan-signing event at SPACE at One Ayala.
Announced on October 25 during Day 2 of ONE ZONE FEST, the vinyl release gives A’TIN another physical edition to collect following the sold-out release of the album’s Global Version CD.
The record will be pressed on Smokey Midnight Blue vinyl, with individually numbered copies and a collection of exclusive printed keepsakes. Pre-orders are available through the Backspacer Records online store.
What comes with the SB19 vinyl edition?
Designed with collectors and longtime fans in mind, the 12-inch single LP comes in a premium tri-fold sleeve with several exclusive inclusions:
- Smokey Midnight Blue vinyl with individually numbered copies
- A 24-page, full-colour lyric photobook featuring previously unseen photographs
- An exclusive 11-by-11-inch art print
- A special-edition sticker pack
- One random member photocard, selected from five photographs created exclusively for this release
- A built-in near-field communication (NFC) tag for convenient digital access to the album
The NFC feature connects the physical release with digital listening, giving fans another way to access the album beyond playing the record itself.
SB19’s Wakas at Simula gets a physical release
For SB19 leader PABLO, releasing the album on vinyl gives fans and the group a tangible way to experience a project that holds personal significance.
PABLO said the members are happy to finally have Wakas at Simula in a physical format, noting that fans value having music they can see, hold, and listen to through analog formats.
JUSTIN also hopes the release will introduce SB19’s music to new listeners in the Philippines and overseas, with the album serving as a possible entry point into the group’s catalogue.
STELL highlighted the members’ involvement in the creative process, including decisions around the vinyl’s visual presentation and packaging. JOSH explained that the NFC tag was included to bridge the physical record with its digital counterpart, while KEN described the release as part of the group’s continued effort to explore different ways of presenting its music.
