Pride Month Began with LoveYourself Pride Night: Reflecting on the Past,Celebrating the Present, Shaping the Future


As June kicked off, LoveYourself.ph proudly hosted themuch-anticipated LoveYourself Pride Night on June 1, 2024, at Bridgetowne OpenGrounds, Pasig City as the official venue partner. This vibrant celebration launched PrideMonth with the theme 'Past, Present, and Future,' honoring the historical journey, current achievements, and ongoing advocacy for a brighter future within the LGBTQIA+ community.

LoveYourself was honored to welcome Ms. Pia Wurtzbach, a dedicated ally and advocate, as celebrity ambassador, bringing her unwavering support to the event. The event was also graced by Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo and Miss Supranational Philippines 2025 Tarah Valencia. Hosts for the evening included the fabulous duo of Miss Deliciousness and Poca. The night was lit with electrifying performances by LY Queens, Mocha Gays, Salmo Nella,Sexy Wanda Mina, Deedee, Mrs. Tan, MC BLCK, Lady Gagita, Bernie Barrantes, Bomba Ding, Felicia Ding, Zymba Ding, Divine Divas - Brigiding, Precious Paula Nicole, Vinas DeLuxe, PhiPalmos, Jewel, Matilduh, Dystruxia - Beyond Limits, Myx Chanel, Makki Lucino, Raven Heyres,Katkat and Bernie Barrantes, Deja and Alab Poi Dancers, Saga, Hana Beshie, OV Cunt, JQUinn, Arizona Brandy and Royalties. Pride Night was more than just a celebration; it was a call to action and reflection. Guests looked forward to engaging installations:

● Guests were invited to select letters from envelopes, sparking personal connections.

● They wrote letters of love and hope to share with others, fostering a community ofsupport.

● They voiced their opinions on political questions by placing stickers, encouraging active participation and awareness. 

Additionally, a trip down Rainbow History Lane was an exhibit that highlighted pivotal moments in LGBTQIA+ history, reminding us of the community's resilience and triumphs that had paved the way for today's progress. Guests were sure to visit the Pride Magazine Photo Booth to capture the moment and discover inspiring stories. This event was a testament to the enduring spirit and vibrant culture of the LGBTQIA+ community. We celebrated the past, embraced the present, and strived for a future filled with equality, love, and acceptance.
