The SM Foundation has allocated PhP170 million towards the fight against COVID-19 to help medical frontliners and hospitals nationwide. Last March 27, 2020, ICU-grade ventilator machines were delivered to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).
The ICU-grade ventilators that will help PGH manage patients with severe cases is in addition to the cash donation received by the team of Dr. Gerardo Legaspi, Director of PGH.
The donation forms part of PHP170 million in allocations pledged by SM Foundation. SM has committed to be of service to the Filipino public, its hospitals, and its government, in ensuring that we all contain and overcome the COVID-19 crisis together.
